SPRINGHILL, N.S. – Cross Border Women’s Hockey League action continued in Springhill with the Tigers beating the Cougars by a score of 8-3, scoring four of those goals in the third period.
Stacey Webb and Danielle Robichaud scored two goals each, while Andrea Faryniuk, Ericka Webb, Jasmine Richard, and Colleen Bateman added on goal each for the Tigers.
Casie Skidmore got the Cougars on the scoreboard with two goals in the second period and Alyson Pickard scored one goal.
The winning goalie was Kat Aube, while Patty Willigar was in nets for the Cougars.
Tigers vs. Lions
The Tigers continue their streak with a win over the Lions by a score of 6-3. Jasmine Richard led the way with a hat trick while Stacey Webb picked up a couple, and Jolyane Lavalle had one goal. Assisting on the goals was Lisa Morris, Danielle Rohichaud, Ericka Webb, Richards and Stacey Webb.
Lions had goals by Shannon Hanna and Emily Wainwright, assisted by Jenna Gogan and Phyllis Burbine. Kat Aube backstopped the Tigers while Laurie Terris was in nets for the Lions .
Tigers vs. Cougars
In other CBWHL action, Alysha Manderson scored three goals to lead the Cougars to a 4-2 win over the Tigers. Alyson Pickard also found the back of the net for the Cougars in the third period.
Scoring assists was Wanda Jewers, Brenna Counter, Karla Fulton and Pickard.
Andrea Faryniuk and Jasmine Richard scored for the Tigers, with Erika Webb, Stacey Webb and Colleen Bateman picking up helpers.
Patty Willgar was the winning goaltender, and Kat Aube got the loss.
