SPRINGHILL – The Springhill Golden Eagles boys basketball team recently hosted a six-team tournament that included the Amherst Regional High School JV Vikings.

In the round-robin, Springhill opened the tournament with a 65-43 win over Amherst, and beat North Nova 72-42, while the Vikings lost 84-67 to North Nova.

In the semi-final matchups, Springhill lost 64-56 to North Colchester High School Mustangs, and the JV Vikings lost 115-85 to the North Queens Community School Spartans.
