SYDNEY, N.S. — The Breton Education Centre Bears picked up another win in Cape Breton High School Basketball League girls’ action at Sydney Academy gym on Tuesday.

The New Waterford-based Bears downed the Sydney Academy Wildcats 78-39.

Abby MacNeil led the offense for BEC with 19 points, while Avery MacKinnon dropped 16 points. Emmy Donovan chipped in with 12 points. 

Ainslie Trimm had 13 points for the Wildcats.
