Ramblers shut out Timberwolves

AMHERST, N.S. – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers shut out the Miramichi Timberwolves 4-0 during pre-season action Saturday night at Amherst Stadium.

Nick Snow scored two Ramblers goals, with Greg Stoyles adding one goal and one assist and Max Boudreau scoring a single goal.

Dawson Grenier, Hunter McIntyre, Julien Hebert, Alex Hayes and Matt Sartoris had one assist each.

Joel Goguen played in net for the Ramblers stopping all 20 shots he faced, while his teammates had 38 shots on Miramichi’s Tommy Rolin.

Game attendance was 490.

Ramblers vs. Lumberjacks

On Thursday, the Ramblers were at the J.K. Irving Centre in Bouctouche, N.B., where they beat the South Shore Lumberjacks 5-3 with one goal and two assists from Jacob Myra, one goal and one assist from both Cole Darrach and Stoyles, and one goal from Mack Campbell and Hebert.

Oliver Troop and Goguen split duties in goal. Troop allowed two goals on 22 shots, and Goguen one goal on 19 shots. The Ramblers had 40 shots on the Lumberjacks net.

Game attendance was 550.

Upcoming Games

The Ramblers are in Miramichi on Sunday for a rematch of Saturday’s game. The game starts at 2 p.m.

The Ramblers are in Summerside on Thursday to play the Western Capitals, and then return home on Saturday to host the Capitals. Both games start at 7 p.m.
