AMHERST, N.S. – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers shut down the Grand Falls Rapids by a score of 4-0 during Maritime Hockey League action Saturday night at Amherst Stadium.
Goaltending
Tyler Caseley shutout the Rapids, stopping 20 of the 20 shots he faced, while his teammates scored on four of their 36 shots against Rapids goaltender Nolan Boyd.
First Period
Cole Waugh scored two goals in the first period, one at 15:37 into the frame and another with one second left in the first.
Second, and third period
Robbie Burt scored the Ramblers final two goals of the game, one at 10:49 into the first, and another at 9:45 into the second.
Assists
Caleb Rich scored two goals on the night, with Waugh, Bradley Dawe, Max Boudreau, Stephen Fox and Brock Bartholomew scoring one assist each.
Standings
The Ramblers are in third place in the Eastlink South standings with nine points and a record of four wins, four losses and one overtime loss.
The South Shore Lumberjacks lead the division with a record of 8-3, while the Yarmouth Mariners are second with a record of 7-3-2 (win, loss, OTL).

The Ramblers have two home games this week.
On Monday they host the Valley Wildcats at 2 p.m., and then on Saturday, they host the Fredericton Red Wings at 7 p.m.
