AMHERST – All the money raised at the 4th Annual Amherst Valentine Run at West Highlands Elementary School in Mid-February was presented to several organizations at Minocha McKenney Dental Wednesday afternoon.
The run raised $3,000 and it was distributed to programs at West Highlands Elementary, Amherst Regional High School, E.B. Chandler Junior High School, the Bright Beginnings Child Care Centre, The YMCA of Cumberland Pre-School, and the Amherst A’s Under-18 basketball team.
The Amherst Valentine Run Committee is hosting a yard sale at E.B. Chandler from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
People can donate items to be sold at the yard sale at E.B. Chandler on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Money raised at the yard sale will goes towards the cost of running the 2019 Amherst Valentines Run.
