HALIFAX, N.S. – The Amherst Minor Basketball Association U12 boys basketball team won silver at the Basketball Nova Scotia provincial championships on March 17 in Halifax.

The Amherst A’s, Team Reid, earned a Division 7 U12 boys silver medal after losing 40-36 to the Shelburne Thrashers in the championship game.

The A’s went undefeated before the final, kicking the tournament off with a 34-14 win over the Cole Harbour Rockets, a 24-18 win over the Fall River Rebels, and a 24-23 win over the CBA Tigers.
