AMHERST – Aerials Gymnastics Club athletes travel to Saint John today to compete at the Fundy Gymnastics Invitational, their third gymnastics meet of the season.
“The girls are performing well on beam and Emma (Sjanic) is doing well on vault,” said Aerials coach Michelle Landry. “Bars has been Jessica’s (Landry) strong point but she had a couple meets where it wasn’t.”
After this weekend, the girls have a few weeks off before their fourth meet of the season.
“After a few meets they have a better understanding of what the competition is like this year, so having time off gives them an opportunity to come in and get some work done,” said Landry.
