AMHERST – Nolan McNally tripled and added a single and a double as the Lions defeated the Y’s Guys 14-1 in Amherst Little League Baseball action on Wednesday night.

Ben Davis hit a pair of doubles, Kyler Edwards doubled and singled and Connor Masters doubled for the Lions with Reese MacDonald and Gregor Millard each adding singles.

Caleb Oulton and Jesse Goodwin singled for the Y’s Guys.

Kyler Edwards and Nolan McNally pitched for the Lions, giving up two hits, walking five and striking out 16.

Aaden McAloney, Mason Sloan and Jesse Goodwin pitched for the Y’s Guys. They gave up 12 hits, walked 13 and struck out five.

Burke Beed tripled once and singled twice as the Mixers defeated the Carter’s Cresting Cubs 21-3.

Aidan McBurnie doubled twice and singled and Mandel Nickerson, Jackson Reid and Nate Arsenault each singled twice and doubled once. Hayden Crocket singled twice and Connor O’Brien and Caleb Campbell each singled once.

Cohen Ingraham and Ryan Wilson each singled twice for the Cubs with Brady Farrish adding one single.

Hayden Crocket, Aidan McBurnie and Burke Beed pitched for the Mixers. They gave up five hits, walked seven and struck out 15. Kieran Sears and Sawyer Harvey pitched for the Cubs. They gave up 9 hits, walked four and struck out 10.

On Monday, Nolan McNally hit a long home run to left centrefield as the Lions defeated the Mixers 6-4.

Kyler Edwards hit two singles for the Lions, who scored four runs in the fifth inning to erase a 3-1 deficit while Gregor Millard singled and doubled and Reece MacDonald and Connor Masters each singled once.

Mandel Nickerson doubled twice, Burke Beed and Aidan McBurnie each tripled and Hayden Crocket doubled for the Mixers.

Reece MacDonald and Nolan McNally pitched for the Lions, giving up five hits, walking two and striking out 13. Burke Beed, Mandel Nickerson and Aidan McBurnie pitched for the Mixers. They gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out 11.

On Foster Field, the Cumberland Paving Cubs defeated the Y’s Guys 21-4.

Jaxon Reynolds earned the pitching win giving up three hits, walking seven and striking out five. Jesse Goodwin and Ashton vanSnick pitched for the Y’s Guys. They gave up six hits, walked 16 and struck out seven.

Sawyer Harvey doubled twice and singled for the Cubs with Connor Hunter hitting a single and a double and Kieran Sears hitting a double. Will Allen hit a single.

Aiden McAloney tripled for the Y’s Guys with Chase Livingston hitting a single.
