Stellarton's Blayre Turnbull is headed to the NHL all-star weekend in St. Louis.
Turnbull, a forward with Canada's national women's hockey team, will partake in Friday's skills competition in a three-on-three tournament.
Ten Canadians and 10 Americans were selected to play in the 20-minute scrimmage at the Enterprise Centre. Two women, one from each country, will be chosen via a Twitter fan poll to compete against men in shooting skills. Turnbull isn't on the shortlist of the four Canadian players.
