AMHERST – The Cumberland County Minor Hockey Association will host clubs from across the province this weekend during the Novice Advance Bluenose Tournament at the Amherst Stadium and the Richard Calder Arena in Springhill.
Joining the host Cumberland County Kent Ramblers will be novice advance teams from Truro, Pictou Crushers Red, Pictou Crushers White, Chebucto Atlantics Greet, Chebucto Atlantics Black, Bedford Warriors, Bedford Thunderboltz, Sackville Flyers, Dartmouth Whalers, East Hants Penguins and the West Hants Warriors.
Action begins at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Amherst Stadium with the final game at 6:50 p.m. Play resumes early Saturday at 8 a.m. in Amherst with games at the stadium and in Springhill throughout the day.
The final day of the three-day jamboree-style event begins at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
