AMHERST, N.S. – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers lost 5-2 to the South Shore Lumberjacks Saturday night at Amherst Stadium.

Goal Scorers

Max Boudreau and Cole Waugh scored for the Ramblers.

Linden Namagoose and Thomas Ashe assisted on the Boudreau goal in the first period, and Matt Green and Aidan McFarland assisted on the Waugh goal in the second period.

Goaltending

Matt Williams played in net for the Ramblers, stopping 35 of the 39 shots he faced, with the final Lumberjacks goal being an empty-netter.

Power Play

The Ramblers were 0 for four on the power play, and the Lumberjacks were one for five.

Attendance

Game attendance was 730.

Upcoming Games

The Ramblers are in Truro on Wednesday to play the Bearcats, and return home Saturday at 7 p.m. to host the Campbellton Tigers.
