Colson edges Maltby in AAHL action

AMHERST, N.S. – A late third period goal secured the win for Colson Overhead Doors in their 7-6 win over Maltby Sports Tuesday night at Amherst Stadium.

Matt Colson scored two goals and two assists for Colson, Trevor Currie and Phil Farrow scored two goals and one assist each, and Geoff Ryan had one goal.

Bill Jobes added two assists, and Drew Doiron, Tim Ripley, Danny Small and Darcy Snell added one assist each for Colson.

Jordie Shaw scored three goals for Maltby, Dan Anger and Aaron Dobson added one goal and one assist each, and Jon Tattrie added one goal.

Scott Dicks and Corey Robichaud had three assists each for Maltby, and Mitch Roy added one assist.

Kristy Brown got the win in net for Colson, and Alex Legere the loss for Maltby.

AAHL action continues Thursday with Bluewave Energy playing J&K Electric in Springhill.
