SPRINGHILL, N.S. – The Cumberland County Blues lost 6-4 to the Cole Harbour Colts Sunday night in Springhill.
Blues captain Reuben MacKenzie scored two first period goals, the first short-handed and the second on the Power play, Yanick LeBlanc added one goal in the second period, and Gregory Ellison scored one goal in the third period.
MacKenzie and LeBlanc added single assists, Chad Miller and Taylor Smith had two assists each, and Cole Jacquard and Brody Deegan had one assist each.
Samuel Huard stopped 33 of the 39 shots he faced, and his teammates had 37 shots on Colts goaltender Zachary Mason.
The Blues next game is Friday night in Springhill when the Blues host the Brookfield Elks. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
