AMHERST, N.S. – Wyatt Huston and Brady Farrish scored eight points each to lead the Amherst Minor Basketball Association Amherst A’s to a win in the championship game at the U14 Boys Holiday Classic at Amherst Regional High School.

The A’s earned the medal with a at their U14 Boys Holiday Classic with a 36-31 win over Cape Breton.

Adding to the 16 combined points from Huston and Farrish, Kaden Allen and Nate Hampel added six points each, Gregor Millard scored four points, and Noah Petten and Alex Rossong scored two each.

The A’s earned a berth in the final after a 44-24 win over Truro.

Hampel scored 15, Farrish scored nine, Huston scored eight, Millard scored seven, and Allen scored five.

The A’s also beat Sackville by a score of 56-30.

Hampel scored 12, Farrish scored 11, Millard scored 10, Petten and Jonah McGlashen scored six each, Huston scored five, and Allen, Rossong, and Ethan Amos scored two each.
