CLARKE'S HARBOUR-The Springhill Fence Busters Mosquito baseball team captured the A Provincial Championships on Saturday by going a perfect 3 and 0 in the round robin against Kentville, Halifax and the host team from Clarke's Harbour.
On Friday evening, Springhill defeated Kentville by a score of 9 to 1. On Saturday afternoon, the Fence Busters defeated Halifax by a score of 17-8 before besting Clarke's Harbour 14-6.
A Saturday evening win by Kentville over Halifax allowed the Mosquito Fence Busters to clinch the title.
