AMHERST, N.S. – Members of the Aerials Gymnastics Club recently returned from Charlottetown where they competed at the Prince Edward Classic.
“Some of them did really well and we’re looking forward to the next meet,” Aerials coach Michelle Landry said.
Their next meet is the Taiso gymnastics meet which runs Feb. 7 to 9 in Lower Sackville.
Results from the Prince Edward Classic are as follows:
Kensie Atkinson – 2nd on vault, 5th on bars, 7th on beam, 3rd on floor, and 5th overall
Jessica Landry – 7th on vault, 8th on beam, and 8th overall
Reagan Wilson – 7th on vault, 5th on bars, 5th on beam, 7th on floor, and 8th overall
Ava MacLeod – 3rd on vault, 6th on beam, 8th on floor, and 7th overall
Julia Dickson – 5th on bars, 8th on beam
Dartmouth Titans Meet
Aerials Gymnastics recently competed in their first meet of the 2020 season at the Titans Invitational in Dartmouth.
“The nerves kind of stepped in and got the best of a couple of them but they still did really well,” gymnastics coach Michelle Landry said.
Haley Angus stepped up to a new competitive level this season.
“It’s nice to see her move up and challenger herself,” Landry said. “She got all the new skills she’s been working on and did really well.”

Haley Angus (Open 7) – 6th on vault, beam, floor, 7th on bars and 6th overall.
Jessica Landry (Open 7) – 7th on vault, beam, floor, 6th on bars, and 7th overall.
Reagan Wilson (Tyro 3) – 7th on vault, bars, 8th on beam, 9th on floor and 8th overall.
Ava Martin (Tyro 3) – 3rd on vault, 6th on bars and floor, 7th on beam, and 6th overall.
