With the 2024 crab fishery having slated to have begun this past Saturday, April 6th., 2024, crab fishing boats still remained tied-up as fish harvesters await a settlement on fish pricing issues between the Fish, Food & Allied Workers (FFAW) union and the Association of Seafood Producers (ASP).
