Who does Jones represent?

To the Editor, Regarding a letter from Walter Jones that appeared in the Amherst Daily News last week: What age group do you represent? Do you swim, and did you ever use the YMCA pool? This area has a large percentage of senior citizens, who do not need an Olympic-size pool. Most no longer play volleyball, basketball or badminton, but we can work out and swim in the pool. We have been living here and paid taxes for a very long time. I have been working out and swimming five days a week, since the Y opened 20 years ago. Furthermore, neither the town, county nor the provincial government have a bottomless money pit. Barbara van Leeuwen, Amherst
