It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ronald Scott Stevens, age 71, of Oxford, NS, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Eldon and Joyce (Nicholson) Stevens. Ronald was a good man, who was a well-loved husband, father and grandfather. Ronald will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Sharron (Noiles) Stevens, Oxford, NS; daughters Robin (Ernie) Woodman, Moncton, NB, Mary (Paul) Willigar, River Hebert, NS, and Vickey (Ronnie), Amherst, NS; grandchildren Katlyn, Dean, Paullie, Margaret, Kyanna, Deja, Jennifer and Marcel; 5 great grandchildren; brother Ricky (Rhonda) Stevens, Amherst, NS; sister Stephanie (Nick), Amherst, NS; special cousins Randy, Brian and Vicky; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; brother-in-law Allison (Linda) Noiles, Parrsboro, NS; sisters-in-law Barbara Noiles Ferreira, Wolcott, Connecticut, Heather (Donnie), Parrsboro, NS; Joanne Noiles, Alliston, ON; mother-in-law Margaret Noiles, Alliston, ON; uncle Reginald Hicks, Maccan, NS; Aunt Kathlyn Noiles, Brampton, ON. He was predeceased by son Avery, daughter Annmarie and brother-in-law Peter Ferreira. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water Street, Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). In keeping with Ronald's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS. Those wishing to donate in Ronald's memory may do so to the charity of your choice.
