REGINALD HARRIS HALLAM 1927 – 2018 Reg passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Ernest Hallam and Sarah (Harris) Hallam. He graduated from Westville High School in 1945. He worked a year in the Coal Mine and then went on to graduate from St Francis Xavier University, Antigonish N.S. in 1950 with a Service degree and a commission in the R.C.N. (R) Prior to retirement in 1986 he worked as a geologist in the mining industry across Canada. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, Westville, N.S. He cherished his memories of growing up in Westville. Riding his bike, playing baseball and hockey, fishing, delivering milk by horse and buggy and other odd jobs to save enough money to go see a show with his friends. He is survived by his wife Christina (Murphy) Hallam ; Daughters Patricia (Garth) Elgie Calgary, Alberta, Christine (Sam) Sidsworth, Richmond BC; Sons Michael (Debbie) Hallam Coquitlam, BC, Peter (Linda) Hallam, Coquitlam, BC; 8 wonderful Grandchildren and 9 precious Great Grandchildren; Sister Rhoda (Herb) Lays, Hopewell, NS He was predeceased by his parents, and younger brother Norman. Expression of Love and thankfulness to all his family and friends.
