R. Craig Dupuis

R. Craig Dupuis 1956-2018 The passing of R. Craig Dupuis, 61, of Amherst, occurred suddenly on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Amherst, Craig was a son of the late Lloyd Gould and Mabel Burbine. Craig enjoyed spending time on his motorcycle and weekend drives with his family. He was an avid cat lover and a great handyman who was always there to offer a helping hand. He had been a long-time employee with D&J Taxi, followed by three years with Atlantic Windows. Craig was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will never be forgotten. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Pamela (nee Cormier), Amherst; his sons, Kevin Dupuis, Amherst, and Adam Dupuis, Gatineau, PQ; his grandson, Calvin Dupuis, Amherst; a sister, Sally Hicks, Truemanville; two brothers, Art (Shirley) Dupuis, Truro and Cecil Dupuis, Amherst, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Craig was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Dupuis and Doug Gould, as well as his stepfather, Phillip Burbine. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service for Craig will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11 am. Donations in memory of Craig may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
