RIPLEY, Pauline Carol It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Carol Ripley, age 83, of Amherst on Friday October 4, 2019 at Gables Lodge, Amherst, with her loving family by her side. Born in Amherst, she was the eldest daughter of the late Wilbur and Mabel (Cook) Goodwin. Pauline is survived by her children, Buffy (David) Davison, Haneytown, NB, Pennee Landry (Lou Fenez), Shediac, NB and Roy (Sandra) Landry, Amherst; grandchildren, Gregory and Zachery Landry; siblings, Sandra (Roy) McInnis, Amherst, Delbert (Helen) Goodwin, Amherst and Lynn (Michael) Casey, Middle Sackville, NS. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Wayne Ripley in 2015. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the nurses and ALL the wonderful staff at Gables Lodge for taking good care of Pauline over the last year. Following Pauline’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in the Southampton Cemetery where both Pauline and Wayne will be laid to rest. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS, 902-667-9906.
