Melba Jean Edwina Comeau 1940-2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of M. Jean Comeau, age 77, of Moncton. Jean passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillian Gale. Jean's caring and giving soul made her a well loved person by all who knew her. She loved to help people and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by her sons Wade (Sonya), Riverview, Bernie, Moncton; grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Crystal-Jean, Kevin, Faith and Michael Kelly; 4 great grandchildren; great great grandchild Autumn; sisters Myrtle Carey, Corner Brook, NL, Helen (Gordon) Maunage, Elaine (Bill) Stanley, both of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bernard Comeau; daughter Rose-Marie Comeau; sisters Elizabeth, Greta, Rena and Isabelle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS. A graveside service will take place in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie, NS in the spring.
