Marc Bougie

It is with great sadness that the family of Marc Bougie age 67 of Heather Beach, Port Howe, announce his passing on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the George Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Paul and Marie (Debaie) Bougie. Marc enjoyed many hobbies over the years, fishing, ATV and going to the camp with his buddies. Music was always a big part of Marc’s life; playing in a band when he was younger and pursuing a collection of albums throughout his life. Marc had a keen interest in classic cars, car racing and spent hours at a time debating car details with his friend Jim. Later in life, Marc took a cabinet making course, and enjoyed making furniture and keepsakes for family. He will be missed by his wife Carol Hurley; daughters Cynthia (Shane) Delorme and Andrea (Greg) Atwell; son Christopher; granddaughter Jordan; grandsons Tanner, Brendan and Jordan; sister Deb (Mike) Babec; sister in-law Gloria Beaton; nieces Gina, Kristen and Kate; nephew Mitchell; cousins Rod and Diane and extended family. Paul was predeceased by his sister Sharyn LaRose and nephew Stephen. A celebration of Marc’s life will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm held in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.
