Lewis Pugsley

Pugsley, Lewis M. - Age 73, of Amherst and formerly of Five Islands passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at home. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Victor and Frances (Eagles) Pugsley. He is survived by his wife, Margo Ripley; daughters, Valerie Lewis, Stellarton; Victoria Clark (Gerry), Parrsboro; Tina Ripley (Gary), Amherst; a son, Darren Pugsley (Leigh-Anne), Amherst; stepdaughter, Mary Lloy (George), Stewiacke; stepson, Brian Ripley (Shelley), East Leicester; sisters, Edith Knockwood, Dorchester; Marion MacIsaac, Moncton; Joyce Comeau, Amherst; Ferne Gould (Ricky), Amherst; Robin Pugsley, Lower Five Islands; special cousin, Fred O’Hearn (Carolyn), Lower Five Islands; grandchildren, Kala and Dawson Clark; Kerry and Bruce Forbes; Ashley Cormier; a great-granddaughter, Gabrielle; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Delbert and Sidney. Visitation 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Pastor Douglas Lake officiating. Burial in the Peniel Cemetery, Five Islands. Reception to follow in the lower level of Peniel Church, Five Islands.Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Program of Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
