Katherine Mary Chapman

It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Mary Chapman, age 49, of Amherst announce her passing at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Born in Sackville, NB, she was a daughter of George and Mildred Chapman of River Hebert. Katherine was a member of the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, River Hebert. She loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews as well as enjoyed time on the computer and at Bingo. She will be dearly missed by her parents; brother Stephen (Tammy Tower) of River Hebert and a brother by choice Michael Roberts of Amherst; brother in-law David Deegan; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special cousins. She will also be greatly missed by her great nieces and nephews Easton, Ryleigh, Justin, Emery, Charlie, Dallas, Tyler and Hunter. Katherine was predeceased by her sister Sharon Deegan; maternal grandparents Henry and Mary Smith, her paternal grandparents Gerald and Louise Chapman. A celebration of Katherine’s life will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br#14, River Hebert. Donation can be made in Katherine’s memory to the Diabetic Association, the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary Br# 14 or to the charity of your choice.
