Isaac Macdonald Doucet

DOUCET, Isaac MacDonald It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Isaac Doucet, August 22, 2019 at the age of 30 years. Born November 30, 1988 in Moncton, NB, Isaac was the son of Karl Doucet of Amherst, NS and Jane MacDonald of Ottawa Ontario. Isaac attended Amherst Regional High School here he was a proud Viking, playing for the JV basketball team. After graduation, Isaac attended NSCC in Bridgewater and graduated with a diploma in computer aided drafting. He worked for several years at Atlantica Mechanical Contractors in Dartmouth as a building systems coordinator. He returned to school and was working toward a degree in computer science at Dalhousie University. Isaac had a passion for helping children with learning disabilities and worked on a number of applications and programs to help students learn math. Isaac loved animals, especially dogs. Before moving to Dartmouth, he was a faithful volunteer at the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter in Amherst, NS. Isaac was the first-born grandchild to both his paternal and maternal grandparents. In addition to his parents, Isaac leaves to mourn his paternal grandparents, Cletus and Flora Doucet; uncle, Bill Doucet (Kim); aunt, Paula Throop (Jim); uncles, Allan and Greg MacDonald; aunts, Anne and Mary MacDonald; cousins, Jacob, Alex and Luke Doucet, Gillian Throop and Ryan MacDonald. Isaac also leaves behind his fiance of five years, Amy Krill of Halifax. Isaac was predeceased by both maternal grandparents, Shirley and Gordon MacDonald of PEI. Issac, you were loved beyond measure. We will miss you forever.
