DOUGLAS ALTON BLAIR 1933-2017 It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Doug Blair announces his passing on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook BC. Doug was born March 29, 1933 in River Philip Centre, Nova Scotia to Alton and Ruby Blair. He was predeceased by his first wife Rose MacLeod formerly of Springhill and brothers, Leon, Garnet and Clair and a sister Juanita Mattinson. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Anita, sons Leon (Claire), Ken (Dawn) and stepson Bob MacLeod (Yvonne) and many grandchildren. Also brother Donald Blair of River Philip, sisters Pearl Adshade-Cox of River Philip, and Marie Kidd of Amherst. A memorial service for Doug will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook, BC on Saturday November 25, 2017 at 1:00pm.
