Colleen Mae Mont Godrey

Colleen Mae Mont Godfrey, 84 years of age, of Springhill, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with her family by her side. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late John & Janie (Brown) Mont. She was a solider of the Salvation Army, becoming a member January 29, 1950. Colleen was a Corps Cadet, Wolf Cub Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Record Sergeant and a Home League Member. Colleen will be sadly missed by her sons, Richard " Jack" Godfrey (Patricia Anne) of Woodstock, ON, Mont Godfrey (Carolyn Dickie) of Amherst, N.S., grandchildren, John Ryan, Aaron, Michael, Kelly Lynn, Korey Matthew; great grandchildren Archer & Rayden, Kaelyn Marie, Kinsley Jean, Josiah; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step sisters, Jennifer Goldrich, Rena Holloway, Catherine Mont, step brothers; Ted Mont, Richard Mont & William "Bill" Mont. Arrangements are under the care and supervision of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill (902-597-2361) where the family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Springhill on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. Burial to take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Reception to follow at the Citadel.
