Barbara A. Cormier Cormier, Barbara A. – Age 74, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Julia (Williams) Atkinson. She is survived by her husband, Gerard; a son, Paul (Kathy), Ottawa; daughter in law, Wendy, Ottawa; a sister, Jean Shields (John), Cole Harbour; brothers, John (Clovia), James (Betty), Arthur (Dale), William (Sherry), all of Parrsboro; 2 grandchildren, Emma and Nicholas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Brian. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, Parrsboro, Deacon Howie Goldstein officiating.
