HALIFAX, N.S. – The Chief Scout’s Award, the highest award which can be achieved at the scout level in Scouts Canada, was presented to Springhills Breanna Bradley on May 18 at Dalhousie University.
The plaque, which is signed by Scouts Canada Chief Scout Terry Grant, was presented to 14-year-old by the Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia.
The plaque says, “You have been judged by your peers and scouters to have exemplified the principles of scouting through your leadership, voluntary service to your community and outdoor skills.
“In recognition of this, and as an encouragement to your further pursuit of such worthy actions, I am pleased to confer upon you the Chief Scout’s Award.”
