SPRINGHILL, N.S. — A couple has been displaced by an overnight fire that caused major damage to their split-level house in Springhill, Nova Scotia.  
  
The woman and man are staying with relatives while awaiting an assessment from insurers and have received help from Canadian Red Cross volunteers with emergency purchases like clothing and food. 
 
Neither was injured from the Horton Avenue fire, reported around 2 a.m. today (Saturday).
