SYDNEY, N.S. — SYDNEY, N.S. — A Sydney man is now to be sentenced next month after entering guilty pleas to a host of offences.
Raymond Joseph Sockabasin, 31, of Ferry Street, pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer and single counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (a knife), mischief (flooding a police holding cell), and failing to attend court.
The offences occurred in Sydney between June and August.
Sockabasin, who continues to be on remand, is now scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 16.
