SYDNEY, N.S. — A plea date has been set for a Dominion man facing assault and threat charges.

Kevin Gerard MacPhee, 54, of Neville Street is charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault, uttering a threat, overcoming resistance by choking and forcible confinement.

MacPhee, who continues his release on conditions, is now scheduled to enter pleas Jan. 22.

Gleaned from release:   This morning, at approximately 9:25 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle crash where a transport truck had overturned on Akerley Boulevard near Wilkinson Avenue, Monday April 15, 2024.The driver was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.   There will be no access inbound to Akerley Boulevard for an extended period of time, from either Highway 107 or Highway 118.
