A 32-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries late Sunday night after being shot at the intersection of Connaught and Chisholm avenues in Halifax.
Halifax police responded to the incident at 11:30 p.m. "and located an adult male with life-threatening injuries," police said in a news release.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Connaught Avenue between Windsor Street and Regent Street remained closed for several hours to allow the Forensic Identification Section to process the scene in daylight.
The street reopened to traffic at about 8:45 a.m.
"There is no suspect information available at this time," police said.
