AMHERST, N.S. – The deep-bellied bellow of ‘Ho, Ho, Ho and Merry Christmas’ rang throughout the streets of Amherst as Santa Claus wound his way through the streets of Amherst on Nov. 17.

Before Santa made his appearance, Town of Amherst councillors pushed the button that activated the lights in Victoria Square during the annual Christmas Light Up.
