WENTWORTH CENTRE, N.S. —

A woman suffered life-threatending injuries in an accident in Wentworth Centre Wednesday morning.

A northbound SUV collided with a southbound tractor trailer on Hwy. 4, near the intersection with Lake Rd., at 8:10 a.m. on Feb. 27. A preliminary investigation determined the SUV crossed the centre line and struck the truck.

The 69-year-old female driver from Cumberland County, who was the only person in the SUV, was taken to hospital in Halifax by LifeFlight. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
