A woman has been charged in two suspected arsons in Dartmouth.
The woman, 44, wasn’t identified in a Halifax Regional Police news release. She was arrested Saturday.
The first fire occurred late Friday evening in the lobby of an apartment building in the 200 block of Victoria Road. A resident who put out the fire provided a description of the suspect.
Later the same night at 12:35 a.m., police and firefighters responded to an apartment building in the 100 block of Albro Lake Road. Fires were quickly extinguished in the lobby and in front of an apartment door.
A suspect description matched the woman who was seen at the Victoria Road fire scene.
She faces charges of charges of arson and breach of probation.
