AMHERST, N.S. – A water boil advisory issued on Feb. 28 for the Foundry Street-Lower Laplanche Street area of town has been lifted.
As of today, March 4, residents in the affected area no longer have to boil their water for two minutes before consuming it.
The lifting of the advisory comes after water tests, conducted as per regulation, confirmed the water is safe to drink.
Residents affected by the water boil advisory were advised of the decision in hand-delivered notices to their place of residence.
