TIDNISH – A 60-year-old man is facing two charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking following a search of a Pugwash home on Tuesday.
Quantities of methamphetamine, marihuana and illegal tobacco products were located at the residence and seized by members of the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit that is made up of members of both the RCMP and Amherst Police Department.
The man was released frm custody and will return to provincial court on in Amherst on Jan. 22 to enter a plea.
The investigation is ongoing.
