“I can confirm that a search was conducted,” Amherst Police Chief Ian Naylor said Thursday afternoon. "I can't say anything else at this time."

Naylor said the search was conducted by members of the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit with assistance from the Amherst Police Department.

Naylor said a press release will be issued later today.

The Amherst Dr. Greenthumb quietly opened in early January to sell paraphernalia such as bongs and pipes, T-shirts and rolling papers.
