Local road conditions

AMHERST – Road conditions vary throughout the region as snow removal continues this week, but Cumberland County can lay claim to one of the few bare stretches of the 104 north of Halifax.

All primary and secondary highways in Cumberland County are listed as snow covered, and motorists are advised to reduce speeds and drive for the conditions.

In Maccan, water main maintenance from Route 302 Maccan northerly to Trider Road Cumberland County is taking place. Expect periodic traffic control or slow moving traffic through the construction area.
