They were brave, and they did, indeed, win medals at this year's Special Olympics Nova Scotia.

Six of the Golden Opportunities Vocational Rehabilitation Centre clients attended the summer Special Olympics in Halifax this month, caught up with old friends and put several months of training to the test. Along the way, they stood out in a number of disciplines and came home with the hardware to prove it.
