AMHERST - This year will see one of the larger delegations of 4-H members heading to the royal show from Cumberland County.

At the recent Nova Scotia 4-H Show, dairy and beef members had the chance to be selected to represent their province at the national level. From Nov. 4-9, 18 members and their calves will travel to Toronto and show in the Canadian Classic 4-H Dairy Show and the National Junior Beef Heifer Show.

Travelling from Cumberland County will be Jacy MacInnis; David Siddall; Kelsey Boone and team leaders Sharon and JC Siddall.

The first weekend of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is known as the youth weekend. Members from across Canada will be participating in everything from livestock shows to public speaking, square dancing and field crops, just to mention a few. November is National 4-H Month.
