PUGWASH, N.S. – No two Christmas trees are alike. Nowhere is that truer than in the lobby of Pugwash District High School.

“We have 16 trees decorated with a wide variety of themes this year,” said Tree-Fest co-ordinator Elizabeth Clarke.

This is the third annual Tree-Fest in Pugwash.

“We have five new exhibitors this year and, also, many of the trees are decorated by local businesses and organizations,” said Clarke.

Tree-Fest also provides the opportunity for people to donated to the Open Hamper Food Bank in Pugwash.

“People are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable items,” said Clarke.

People are also encouraged to vote on their favourite tree for the People’s Choice Award.

The trees will stand for one week.
