OXFORD, N.S. – One person was transported by EHS LifeFlight to the QEII in Halifax following a collision between a can and a tractor trailer on a rural road in Kolbec.

A passenger in the car and the driver of the truck were taken to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with undetermined injuries.

As a result of a collision, a detour is currently in place. Traffic travelling into Oxford on the Kolbec Road (Hwy 301) will be detoured at the intersection of Kolbec Road and Dickson Road to Mt. Pleasant Road back to Kolbec Road.
