AMHERST, N.S. – Hundreds of motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts came out for a weekend of motorcycle fun at the 5th annual Bordertown Biker Bash, which ran from July 12 to 14.
The weekend featured live music, vendors, a show and shine, a beard contest, a tattoo contest and, also, the Pure Adrenaline motorbike jumpers and the Hub City Stunt Riders.
Charles Wyman ‘Bun’ Betts turns 100 years old next month, and he was presented with certificates recognizing his 100th birthday and for being active in the motorcycling community for 50 years.
The certificates were presented by Bill Casey, MP for Cumberland-Colchester, and by Elizabeth Smith-McCrossin, MLA for Cumberland North.
Betts also led the Biker Bash Parade Finalé at the end of the Biker Bash on July 14.
