Annie Junior coming to Oxford Regional Education Centre

OXFORD – One of Broadway's all-time favourites is coming to Oxford.

The cast of Annie Jr. takes a break from rehearsals for their take of the Broadway musical Little Orphan Annie on May 22 and 23 at OREC.

Ruth Collins, who has been a piano/voice teacher in Oxford for five years, and Oxford Regional Education Centre music teacher Sarah Parker have joined together with students to stage a junior version of the Broadway musical Annie.

Actors are from Grade 4 to age 17.

The cast of 30 has been working hard since March on the story of Little Orphan Annie, the catchy show tunes and the choreography.

A talented production team has put together era appropriate scenes and costumes and the general public are invited to come enjoy the show Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at the school. 

Tickets are available at the Oxford Scotiabank or from members of the cast. Admission is $5 per person.
