Lamont given curative discharge

Cody Irving Lamont, 24, of Truro, was handed a curative discharge following 13 months probation and prohibited from driving for two-years after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

The incident occurred Oc. 8, 2016, in Salt Springs.

Mackey fined

Simon Mackey, 45, of Highway 321, Springhill, was handed a fine of $1,300 after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent. Mackey began serving a 15-month driving prohibition in Aug. 8, 2017, when he entered his plea.

The incident occurred Nov. 1, 2016, in Springhill.

Morrison loses driving privileges

Bradley James Morrison, 28, of Amherst, was handed a fine of $1,300 and prohibited from driving for 15-months after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

The incident occurred Dec. 9, 2017, in Amherst.

White given conditional sentence, probation and fined

Cody Robert White, 24, of Amherst, was handed a six-month conditional sentence, 12 months probation, fined $200, and ordered to provide a DNA sample after being found guilty of assault charges on Dec. 26, 2016, Amherst, and again on Jan. 25, 2017 in Amherst.  

White was also fined a further $300 and ordered to pay $100 in restitution after pleading guilty to:

• breaching a no contact order between Jan. 28, 2017, and Feb. 1, 2017

• committing an act of mischief by damaging property, the value of which did not exceed $5,000, on Jan. 2, 2018-05-08

• failing to attend court Feb. 26, 2018.

All of those incidents also occurred in Amherst.
